I began my journey in health care in 2015 when I graduated with a degree in Animal Technology and became certified in the state of Colorado to practice veterinary medicine. My passion has always been advocacy for my patients, including their nutrition. Throughout my career, I have seen tailored nutrition through Standard Process supplements dramatically improve the lives and well-being of beloved pets. Why Standard Process?
Standard Process is a family-owned and operated company that was founded by Dr. Royal Lee over 90 years ago. He believed that the "standard American diet" of highly processed foods negatively impacts one's overall health. As we know, good health comes from good nutrition, this is why Standard Process' nutritional supplements are formulated using organic, whole food ingredients. The majority of these ingredients are grown just fifteen minutes from the processing facility, ensuring that the ingredients remain at their freshest.
Herbal versus Homeopathic
Herbal and Homeopathic medicine are very similar in that both methods utilize herbs and plants to fight illness or address pain. In herbal medicine, whole plants or parts of plants are typically used in tincture form. Many times, herbal tinctures are not ingested and can be used to treat peripherally whereas homeopathic medications are used topically or internally. While many homeopathic medicines also employ the use of plants, they often times also include other ingredients such as minerals and animal ingredients. The common idea behind homeopathy is that you treat the afflicted system with the components of said system.
